In the picture you may occasionally see the ships and sailboats coming and going from the docks within Galveston Harbor, and fishermen trying to catch something tasty for dinner. If you check back in the evenings you may see the colors of the sunset since the camera is facing west, and on Sundays you may be able to see the cruise ships leaving the harbor around 5 PM.

Usually, the picture is of the beach and surf on the Gulf of Mexico side of the Island, but we recently lost our location along the seawall. However, we are currently in negotiations for a new location for a second camera along the seawall and hope to have it going in the near future.
